In this part of the experiment, you will analyze a series RCL AC circuit. Your analysis will be the-

oretical, using formulas only, then experimental, combining circuit measurements and formulas.

You will see the same circuit acting: inductively at a frequency where XL>Xc, resistively at a fre-

quency where XL=Xc, and capacitively at a frequency where Xc>XL. You will discover that,

how a circuit acts depends upon component values and the frequency of the source voltage.
