UEENEEE101A OH&S INTRODUCTION

As I stated in the main page for this unit, it’s embedded within the UEENEEE102A unit and I am writing it for online delivery.

IN THE OTHER PAGES YOU WILL FIND THE FLOWCHART FOR STUDYING THIS UNIT AND MANY UNIT RESOURCES AND THE ASSIGNMENTS AND ASSESSMENT GUIDELINES.

Original photo 2016 Note the distance from the 11kV insulators to the ground and no safety fencing around the pole.

Much has changed in OH&S and even the unit name now is not quite in accordance with new Australian workplace Safety Framework.

To the photograph on the right, and the question ‘What is the safe distance to 11kV?’

But…. wait there is more…. what about in South Australia? Compare the tables of safe approach limits.Voila_Capture 2016-07-31_03-59-14_PM

There are still some slight differences between each Australian state as far as the specifications of the Safe Work Australia go and the regulations appurtenant thereto.  You can see this here between NSW regulations and SA regulations.  Quite different.
