Some DAW interfaces for audio production. Roland audio mixer integrated with midi keyboard and a little bit of DAW magic and voila, it’s happening… almost.  A lot to learn to master the high end DAWs.  Balanced output of Sony 850Rx into the Roland with low Z input, distortion free and USB to the iMac.  Gone are the days of phantastrons and 6SN7s here.  Its all solid state and silicon.

Ableton Live – the low end version, I can’t warrant the $$ for the high end.

Cockos Reaper – affordable at $60, nice mixer

Apple Garageband – what can I say, this thing is awesome….and its free.  But the downloads for the tracks are ENORMOUS, more than 24GB and they are integrated with Garageband, so back it up.
